This is something I've been talking to my therapist about besides you know what. I've always wanted to have kids since I was one myself, but sometimes I fear like I'd fail due to so many negative aspects about myself such as my hot-headedness and selfishness. I realize this maybe tough to answer for a lot of you who only know a little about me, but from what little you know about me, do you think I could make a good parent?

Just remember: no one's perfect. Not your parents, not my parents, no one's parents are perfect. My parents made mistakes during my childhood and I'm sure yours did too. No one gets it right. If you want to be a parent, go for it. I'm sure you'll do just fine, or at least no worse than anyone else.

You could totally ask for parenting advice here though. At best you might get some interesting answers about what not to do before the discussion degenerates into memes, politics, religion, and the legality of CP. At worst you might get t04str.
