Topic: So I need some help

For my Sociology class, I have to interview a person (~50, male) about gender, and how he feels about the issue in his own life.
I'm having trouble coming up with questions, what should I ask him?
Current list includes:
1. How do you feel about your gender role at this point in your life?
2. Did your family have a significant influence on the way you saw yourself as a boy or girl during your formative years? How?
3. Can you identify any gender-specific behaviours or expectations placed on you whilst growing up? If so, could you explore these a little?
4. Were you encouraged to challenge gender sterotypical and traditional roles or ideologies in your family?
5. Were your parents strong role models?
6. Did you go to gender-specific school? How did that effect you?
7. Did your school encourage you to challenge gender stereotypes?
Also, I have to answer questions like these. What do?

Your best bet is follow up questions to whatever questions you've already asked. It's best to work on your feet and ask questions about whatever answers you get. It's better to not just ask off of your laundry list. You can lighten up whomever you're talking to and try to get them to provide personal anecdotal information. You can easily make a story out of what they say.
That being said, here's another question you can ask:
"How have gender roles changed over your lifetime? Have they gotten better or worse over time?"

Sound advice, but I also feel it's better to not just end up with "um.. yeah, so.. what gender do you reckon the clouds are?" Which I would inveitably ask in a lull of conversation. Thanks for the question ^^

You can also try this:
"What would you personally change about gender roles?" Those hypothetical questions can make for more topics of conversation even if you need more fodder to talk about.
