I don't think so, that's more of a spiritual experience. I don't count hallucinogenics myself.

Find reasons to stay sober, it helped me. I took up exercising (running, lifting weights etc), not something you'd do with a hangover, and not something feel like doing high. I'm closing in on 2 years sober and loving it.

You still smoke? What about selling meth?

I quit smoking (cold turkey) about 14 months ago, and I'm never gonna smoke again. I can run over 4 miles now! It's silly to be excited about that, but it never would have been possible while smoking. Selling meth is a way of life, I can never give that up.

3 weeks now! I made this Hall of Greens to remind me why I should never drink.

Most of those are the old alcoholic Green, but the one in the 9 o'clock position drinking tea looks fairly innocuous.
Also congrats on 3 weeks! How are you feeling?

I wanted to add some variety and I was probably drunk when I was drinking that tea. I'm feeling better, I can exercise and read books because I can concentrate. Feels good to not have a hangover. I still get cravings, but they lessen with time.

I almost relapsed today. I had a spoonful of cheap cough syrup then found out it had alcohol in it. I got intense cravings, but poured the cough syrup away and didn't go to the store.

If anything, I don't drink enough. I'm meant to be going for a night out soon with my college classmates, and I am worried that I am too lightweight. :(

Couldn't you get around it by sticking to low-alcohol drinks, or does that not help?

Matt and I have agreed that our drinking has got out of control again, so we have decided to follow the path of sobriety again. I've poured the last of my alcohol down the drain and am ready.
