I had cash in the bank at age 21 buttttttttttttttttttt not enough to enjoy all that one wants/needs/makes/comfortable/
Past 21 is truly more better.

Yeah, you would say that. You know you would go back to 21 if you could. You could even find a hot 18 aged chick without her thinking you're an old, creepy man.

Deal is and I bet its true for many here. As teen I started early 12/13 undoing virginity and did more then ok with gf's. However I early on was turned on my electronics which lead to Ham Radio with in total changed my life. I ended up building most of my gear including a mishmash of a receiver - butttttt the benchmark was a Collins. I ended up with a home made = 25% of that Collins.
Now sure I was making lots of money for a kiddlet - Found a way to mow lawns that were unique difficult but paid one hell of a lot .. Worked in a TV repair shop which did not pay so much but was great experience re mentors good and bad re running a business. But more better money re a union job was retail clerk in major supermarket.
So I could have bought that Collins brand new butttttt I was dating and bought a nice car so it was tradeoffs so many tradeoffs re Cash flow and I never did buy that Collins.
So skip forward to first real job which was just past 21 as a full Electronics Engineer pre degree with Howard Hughes paying all costs for my degree and I got one hell of a nice pay check to boot.
But it was NOT the money nor has it ever really been. All of a sudden I was being paid to play - Paid to enjoy my Hobby.
That did not occur b4 21
And with very very minor exceptions cause some events back when I did special stuff for USA Gov was NOT how I wood picture living my life - Gained control and all was again OK
So OP honest in total I wood not go back cause lets face facts. Unless one is born rich very rich ...expensive toys and dating and then Marriage...Post 21 honestly is sooooo much better.

Not in Alberta, Manitoba, or Quebec.
Surprisingly, even the territories are 19.

In my last year at Hughes I was assigned to teach this technology at Brown University back East - subterfuge, to teach/select/hire/ future Engineers for the most secret of 3-Letter agencies.\n1: Left Hughes to enter non secret electronics & ended up VP Engineering at several firms. \n1: Recruited by the most secret of agencies to work as "Q" for many many years.\n1: Assigned to take a break from secret to become a VP at Universal/MCA the movie music operation. Assignment to create a work around to the loss of a US Supreme court case MCA vs Sony Betamax - Formed a team to develop what was the first Laser means of Optical disk recording (DiscoVision) MCA holds the Basic Patents for CD/DVD/All/Other/Laser/ means of recording.\n1: Did a stint in A & R for MCA Music because to develop the Laser "stuff" I had to come up with $$$$ because in the Movie business one learns that one must use "other peoples money" A&R & Music biz is horrid for Professional Engineer. \n1: Forced the company to hire the first Music President so I could exit rite exit left\n2: Exited MCA to work for a Texan US Congress Man Charlie Wilson\n2: Became "Q" for Charlie Wilson & spent nearly a decade in Afghanistan in/out/out/in helping Mujahedin & Taliban (great friends of USA) @tyme 2kick Russia out of Afghanistan 100% yet left Afghanistan with USA disgraced & Taliban no longer friends with USA\n2: Ended up secret career by working in so called basement of White House (tunnel goes underground wayyyy across street) \n2: Testified against Olly North to help get him convicted & After my full exit from 3-Letter secret stuff\n3: Agencies refused to cover my resume for lots of years, trying to force my return to said work\n3: With no fill in for years on resume, no one would hire Thee

Toronto is expensive. The rest of it's fine. I liked Ottawa.

I hate it, honestly. It's just like Michigan except I am deemed responsible enough to drink but not enough to carry firearms.

wat
You can get a firearms license if you take a safety course and pass a safety test, which I think is perfectly reasonable.
