Topic: Should I "go Indy"?

So I had some freelancing job for one of the biggest companies in Croatia.

In the general contract I signed it the deal was I get paid on the 10th next month. They were late 6 days last month and made up bullshit excuses but after some threatening I got paid. After that I didn't wanna sign the blank contract for September and told them I'd sign it when they fill in my working hours. That way they wouldn't be able to screw me over filling in less hours then I worked (last time I was paid $6 less then I made, not much but still, fuck them).

All in all, my payment for September still didn't come (12 days after the agreed date) so I called them to see what happened. Some woman picks up and starts babbling about having problems with my contract cause it wasn't signed bla bla, and I'm like "Yeah I know, I'll come sign it after you fill it in, that was the deal after last time" and the bitch tells me they faked the signature already and it's being processed.

I went there and got my copy of the signed contract, with my faked signature and I got the phone call recorded.

Should I sue for $100.000 every day my pay is late?

Adepting a FOSS CRM to suit their needs.
It had to be made to work with the new fiskalisation laws and tax system and I actually have experience with it from the first wave of implementation in the catering industry.

I have no idea how the legal system would work in your country, but isn't forging someone's signature sort of illegal? Couldn't you just tell them to piss up a rope and then file a legal complaint or see your chieftan or barbarian prince or whoever you people complain to in your backward moonspeak countries?

Also another thing: croatia? lol. asking "Should I sue for $100.000 every day my pay is late?" and not "Should I sue them because they forged my signiture?" goddamn

Oh, if I'll do anything I'll do both. I also might use the contract with the forged signature as a way to greymail them into changing stuff.

But yeah, trals tend to last years in Croatia, specially when such big players are involved. The company is one of the biggest tax payers in Croatia. Well, if they actually payed taxes, the goverment wiped recently a tax dept of around 100M USD to that company. Now you get an idea how involved they are in politics.

That's why I'd rather go greymail them and make em respect contracts and get an overall better environment for workers there, then to sue and drag it all out.

Going Indy, in terms of employment and debts, is to shirk all responsibility and act like the victim.

Try "going Green" instead.

I meant "going Indy" in terms of ruining lives of those motherfuckers who are responsible for my late payment + who forged my signature.

If, by ruining lives, you mean getting yourself and your entire family doxed and then crying like a bitch, go ahead.
