Cheney reveals his true colors: it's not about principles or issues, it's always about Team Red. The Party comes first. The Republicans are co-opting the Tea Party just like the Democrats have sucked in Occupy Wall Street: pay them lip service, maybe a little scrap of rhetoric now and again.
Both the Tea Party and OWS were half-assed movements, one lived like savages in a park, the other dressed up in retarded costumes, screamed incoherently about Kenyan socialism, and mailed tea bags to the president. Both were, in my view, just a way for the masses to let off steam in a nonthreatening way. At the end of the day, it comes down to the same old "lesser of two evils" two party system. The Democrats say to the OWS people: "who else you gonna vote for? The Republicans??" and the the Republicans say the reverse to the Tea Party people. Nevermind the two parties have a cordial relationship (underneath all the political theater and saber rattling for the cameras) and agree on everything of consequence.

But even though he (literally) doesn't have the heart to run for office anymore, Cheney can't even bring himself to join the faux-conservative Tea Party. I mean, even radio clowns Hannity and Rush pretended to join.

I watched Cheny on 60 Minutes from last nite on my TVio - Sandra Gupta from CNN did the interview. He said he was once in fear of hackers taking over his heart implant device.

Dick Cheney will probably fit in with the Tea Party quite well.
I get a little bummed every time I remember people take the Tea Party seriously and it has a ton of supporters.
But even Glenn Beck has turned against the Republican party in the last year or so (he's doesn't bring it up often), maybe there is hope after all.
