So, I never really went into this all too much, but my ex was pretty much a textbook narcissist, thinking herself superior for no good reason, being violently angry at anyone disagreeing with her, and having a painfully built up, yet fragile ego. An almost complete disregard for the feelings of others, and inability to admit fault. In the course of the 2+ years I knew her, I could count on one hand the amount of times she showed any kind of remorse, or willingness to compromise, and those were all at either low points for her (seeking a sympathetic ego boost), or when I was so sick of everything that I was threatening to leave her. I'm not saying she's a bad person, only that the sweet girl persona that she had going on, and even believed about herself, is simply painfully innacurate. Lots of verbal/emotional abuse, etc.

Now, I went from that, to this new girl who's essentially a hedonist who loves Jesus, and believes in objective morality. The stereotypical catholic school girl, she has a lot of kinky sex, drinks to excess, self harms, and dabbles in drugs. Someone who believes strongly in the bible, and even attends church, but then sins like it's going out of style. Oh, also she's into art, and literature. Everybody knows, or knew a girl like this. Also, she's "bipolar", which I think adds to the trope.

Somewhat true. Although, she's delusional, and actually believes herself to be the greatest ever, and her manipulations are more emotional outbursts, than cognitive deception. I'm aware of how vain, and shallow I can be, and will in fact play the part of sympathetic, or remorseful if it suits my needs. I believe that she is mostly an honest person, whilst I have a history of deception, and underhandedness.
