Why even claim rape? Did she not see the cameras?

It's a classic case of denial:

"I was too drunk to remember what a huge slut I was being."
"Oh fuck noes, now it's all over the internets."
"I can't have everyone thinking I'm a huge slut."
"I feel violated, I was raped."

Yes, but there's a fucking video out proving she wasn't, you'd think she'd have the common sense to say "No one's buying that".

Women should be allowed to be sluts in public without it being put on the internet.

She probably believes it herself. I'm sure she feels gross having the whole fucking world know what a massive drunk slutbag she is.

She's probably more piseed about the cameras than the actual sex, but the rape card is the only way to get these videos taken down in a hurry.

wonder how many guys got in trouble when their 'rape' wasn't filmed

you can't just walk up to a girl, shove your fingers in her box and start easting her out. that's called assault, and that kinda seems like what is going on to this chick. she doesn't really look capable of consent, she's totally plastered. she looks black-out drunk (in my day i've seen more than a few black-out drunk sorority girls) and that girl didn't look like she knew what was going on.

kinda looks like dude just walked up to a passed out drunk girl and started fingering her and eating her out because she couldn't stop it. if that's what happened that's pretty fucked up. dude should go to jail for sexual assault.

That's what she claims to have had happen, but I'm not so sure.

Even if it went down like that she still has an obligation to resist if she's gonna claim it's rape. Unless he was the one intentionally loading her up with alcohol before this event, I think it's going to be hard to prove malicious intent.

> has never been black-out drunk
yeah... you have no ability to control bodily functions, let alone have the faculties to resist.

it would be like a guy walking past a dude drunk and passed out on the ground, if he start stomping on dudes head and kicking his ribs, that's assault, even if he didn't resist, even if guy didn't get dude drunk. even if you do it as a joke and mean no malicious intent. i had a friend who unintentionally put someone in the hospital and even though no one wanted to press charges, the state did, and they went after him for felony assault.

assault is assault, and this looks like assault. the girl appears delirious and unaware of what was happening, and guy finger banging her looked to be completely aware of his actions. whatever state of mind he was in, he was making decisions and she was not. it looks like she got herself to a point where she could be taken advantage of, but that doesn't excuse taking advantage of her.

you'd probably be pretty pissed if you got black out drunk and some dude walked up and started sucking your dick while you were passed out in a store front window, video'd it, and posted it on reddit.

All you're advocating is unaccountability for personal actions. Of course I'd be pissed if someone took advantage of me while I was drunk, but I wouldn't call it rape because to do so would be disrespectful to real victims of rape. I don't get passed out drunk with people who can't be trusted not to look out for me for exactly that reason. I've never deluded myself into thinking strangers should be cool.

The dude may have been a jerk, but he's not 100% responsible for what happened to this chick. It's called contributory negligence. Unless and until it's proven he contributed to her drunken state, it can't be said that he raped her.

Did you even watch the video? The bitch was grabbing his head and pushing it into her snatch. If that doesn't suggest she's into it I don't know what could. You can't point to one action on her part besides being shitfaced drunk that suggests she didn't consent.

And you can't prove he knew she was shitfaced. Case dismissed.

makes about as much sense as what you actually wrote

> I don't get passed out drunk with people who can't be trusted not to look out for me for exactly that reason
hmm, she appeared to be seated in public, on the street, surrounded by a crowd. should be a pretty safe place to be, i wouldn't expect to be raped in the street.

> The dude may have been a jerk, but he's not 100% responsible for what happened to this chick.
what? but dude did everything! her only action was to sit there until she was assaulted, all actions were his alone!

> Did you even watch the video?
yup

> The bitch was grabbing his head and pushing it into her snatch.
except that to me it looks like she was pushing his head down and it was caught in her pants, looks like she's squirming and pushing him away, but is so drunk that her actions are ineffectual and clumsy.

> If that doesn't suggest she's into it I don't know what could.
explicit consent. i guess this is a hard concept for some people, but if you say a girls name 20 times before she finally says, "hmmm" in a drunken stupor, that is not consent.

> You can't point to one action on her part besides being shitfaced drunk that suggests she didn't consent.
that and the fact that at times she appears unconscious. also the demeanor of the guy doing the assaulting, who thought it all too funny and cute, and the one guy in the background who kept saying, "you know what you're doing, right? you know what you're doing?"

but there were witnesses, we'll see that they say. i wonder if there was any conversation before hand between him and the girl, or if he just saw some passed out drunk chick and decides to put on a show and eat her out. so extreme.
anyway, we'll see what witnesses say.
