now twice as likely to segregate themselves from the poor

economical equality is become a lot less in some places and this is the result of it and this affects social mobility in a bad way as a result. Its like when Britain tried to make their public schools better by making
them compete. What happened was that it would be a lot more clear what school sucked or sucked less and then everyone who had money would move into the areas next to the school that sucked less, causing housing prices to rise
and as a result force the poor out of that area. It is your duty to make your neighbor hood shitty, you know for the poor so the housing prices do not rise.
