So, my relationship with Lexi died a while ago, and I have a new girlfriend. Not just a girl I'm trying to hook up with, but a girlfriend who I spend pretty much all my free time with.
So, the over 2 years of back, and forth between Lexi, and myself seems to be dead. I still think about her from time to time, and I wonder how things might have turned out differently if I wasn't such a liar, and manipulator, and didn't have melodramatic rage fits where I threatened to kill myself or other nonsense. But I no longer wish I had her back, my current girlfriend, Kirby, is wonderful, and I am very happy that I'm with her.
But anywhoozle, there likely won't be any more dramatic updates, or pleas to Lexi, or posts about how much I hate myself that are obviously just bullshit posts to gain favor on the off-chance that Lexi looks at the page.

If you'll recall, in the genesis of my relationship with Lexi, things were going well, and there was approval on the site for both Lexi, and myself. It wasn't until I posted a sour event in our relationship, and then tried to act as if I was completely at fault, and made myself out to be an egocentric liar, thereby demonizing myself, and the relationship as far as minichan is concerned. Where it wen't from contempt/concern to just sort of a joke.
Who knows how this one will play out. In either case she will not be finding out about minichan so I can report on things with relative impunity.

I don't spend much time self-punishing,but I am taking steps to ensure it doesn't happen again. For example: I am up-front and honest with my girlfriend, regardless of whether it favors me or not.

Truth be told, Lexi wasn't mentally stable. Manipulation became the only viable tactic to keep the relationship going, and a daily practice of trying to please an unpleasable human being took an emotional toll on me which manifested itself in regrettable outbursts.
Kirby also isn't exactly neurotypical, but she's a more workable crazy. More prone to making poor life decisions, and having strange sexual experiences than screaming at me that I'm white trash, and breaking up with me every week.
Not to say that I'm somehow an upstanding citizen without any kinks, you attract people like yourself. So, I'm probably an unreasonable asshole prone to destruction, and self destruction.
Yeah, anyone who can be let in on my honest character, and ideals and still want a relationship probably has at least a few loose screws.

It became a sort of game, coming up with lies to explain my absences, why my car smelled like cigarettes; arranging everything to make one person believe I was an upstanding drug free republican who had nothing, but the best inentions whilst I ran around partying, binging, and being a socialist more than anything. Lots of explaining what the noise is, excusing things by saying I was asleep, getting worked up over things I didn't actually care about, etc. Occasionally I'd let something slip just to watch the drama unfold, and prove to myself that I could get away with damn near anything.Talking about a girl and letting the jealousy unfold, revealing sociopathic tendencies, and my destructive personality just to see how she would react . Then, also, and probably most deviously being able to play into her emotions by stringing lines filled with faux-meaning, and pseudo-depth, empty promises, well placed gifts, and acts of romance. She did mean a lot to me, I was very fond of her, and she has admirable traits, but I couldn't actually have a real relationship with her without being bored out of my mind.
See, even now, after she knows I'm screwing another girl, and I haven't seen her in months, I could get her back within a couple weeks. She could read everything I say here, and I could romance her until she didn't care, and I could explain everything away. I was always the one in power, giving her the feeling of control, so she couldn't see who actually held the cards. I'm not going to do that because I'm onto new pursuits, but I know I could.

She should have tried another therapist. If this new relationship works out for ya - Long term she will have problems not worked out that you are going to end up dealing with.
Been there done that myself. Honestly therapy can solve a bunch. Not just for her but for you as well.
