It's just parallel universe Walter. It doesn't have to be opposite universe Walter. There are lots of parallel universes to choose from, so your parallel universe Walter could be whatever. (Like Choose Your Own Adventure books!) I just liked the thought of Walter discussing the importance of diversity with a skinny and sober version of work-a-holic Matt on a lunch break.
