My school screwed me over
I am broke. I am in a shitty, tiny room with no windows. I was denied a visa. I am depressed and miserable. Please have mercy on my pathetic, miserable life.

• My school screwed me over, and I have to go to Hong Kong in two days for a tourist visa. Does anyone know any CHEAP hotels near the consulte (in Wanchai I think)? I do not care how seedy or crappy it is, as long as I do not get murdered by gangsters or assaulted by hookers. Any quick help would be greatly appreciated!
All of Kunming basically smells like fermented urine.

Chinese food "we eat it every day and never get sick." Maybe true for Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, but not true for Kunming. Diarrhea is pretty much rampant here due to a combination of unsanitary conditions and spiciness. Dysentery and food poisoning is common.
