Is a go. There has recently been a big update to terraria adding a ton of stuff, so for those who want to mess around with that there is a server. If you want a cracked terraria or want to join ask for an ip on the irc because I want to keep this thing off of google.

Updated the terraria server to 1.2.0.2, those who use steam will experience no issues but those who use a cracked client will need a new client. Ask in the IRC for a link :)

So we are in fact going to start a fresh world. I'd like to ask everyone to only visit that world with fresh characters, don't bring your old overpowered ones in there. If you want a download of the old world make a post and I'll pm you a link. If anyone has objections to this please post.

Crimson and pyramids. We did test a world earlier which has crimson and one half baked pyramid that was like a big shaft downwards which then just disappeared so that was pretty disappoiting. When generating the new world I'll look for both.

It's up. I've enabled Server Side Characters as an experiment, hopefully nothing will go horribly wrong :x Because of this, it's also fine to re-use your old character on the server.
