"Keep things civil and refrain from personal attacks." I am not a troll. The word "surely" is not intended as a challenge. It is a rhetorical device that, as I used it, attempts to extend a conversation.
It is true that I hate McDonald's, and I see it as an offense and a danger to my own culinary worldview. However, I have never personally condemned anyone, nor tried to force people to eat or not eat anything.
Moreover, I began this thread, as I stated, because I heard some people talking about how they ate only McDonald's, because they thought all Chinese food was dangerous and disgusting. My reasons for creating this thread were both rational, and emotional, human that I am.
From the day that I bought you a Coke at Sal's, you have been desperately trying to prove that I am a troll, or that Iam Crazy Laowai. Neither are true. I regret that you feel so negatively about me — as evinced by your private messages calling me an idiot in ALL CAPS — but I can assure you that I harbor no such animosity toward you or anyone. This is simply a topic that I feel strong about, and I desired a discussion about it.
