Convince your GP you're a bit nuts, best done by visiting them when a little bit drunk. Apply for mental benefits, then when DWP contact your GP for confirmation, hey presto, your claim for mental benefits is approved, job done, you get quite a bit more money on mental benefits than those just getting JSA, and you dont ever have to visit job centre unlike those on JSA have to do. Your rent is paid for you, the council tax is paid for you. You dont ever have to look for a job, you can simply just fuck about all day and night doing what you want, and with more money than those unfortunate unemployed people who actually want to find work and earn a living.

fill in the form and send off medical cert from doctor. you get the assessment rate of ESA for a few months, then have an assessment. if you pass the assessment, you get the full rate of ESA, but have to be assessed every year or so.
if you fail, you just appeal and get yourself caught up in the appeals system for a few years.
all this is moot though -- green is not on ESA. he gets unemployment benefit.

Go to the GP and claim you're so stressed you're having suicidal thoughts, then take a few months off on the sick. Or just go on dole. Anyone can apply for a council flat and if you're super poor then you're more likely to get it and housing benefit (or universal credit if/when they introduce it) can pay for quite a bit of it. But all in all it's barely enough money to scrape by

Lol I spent July 2012 to March 2013 on dole unable to find work and I'd given up on ever being happy again and was seriously going to kill myself by the end of it, the only thing that saved me was that I got into a relationship and she gave me enough help and encouragement to start to believe in myself again. Very few people choose this route in life long-term.
