What positive things are there that you have done since receiving this eviction notice that you can present to the court to give them reasons to not evict you? Its the court that decides whether to evict you or not, not your landlord. So you need to give them reasons not to evict you, not excuses (defence) as to why you have been a shitty tenant.

"I went through a marriage break up and lost my accommodation and had no place to stay and found myself sleeping under Blackfriars’s Bridge.
I didn’t know what I was doing, I had no bedding but I met someone who took me under their wing and looked after me. I was sleeping rough for twenty years.
I couldn’t sort myself out because I was drinking all the time and I’d avoid appointments. I got into a rut, I got up every day and drank and at night you want to lie down and sleep. You lose all respect for yourself and you don’t care anymore refusing help."
Anyway seems Bill and you have something in common and if you read more he did ok.
Phillip - He says "when I got home at night I would drink to try and relax. It took its toll on my relationship and my girlfriend knew I had a problem with alcohol. She ended the relationship which was a shock"
"I got involved with people drinking and we slept under Waterloo Bridge"
If you read on he came out ok.
Appears sleeping under bridges is popular there.

Fuck no. I would rather cut my throat and wrists in front of a school and scar some children for life.

You'll only be homeless if you choose to be. Explain why you aren't looking for a new place already.

I suspect you need to look up Pest control. Did you pay for the license to kill pests with fire. Is fire an approved method to kill pests.
When you were trying to kill self, do you think the court wood approve of you calling self a pest? Well perhaps that might work.

daily reminder that average sleeping rough time for the homeless in the uk is 24 hours which means almost everyone who does it more than once is doing it because they've been banned from every shelter in the area

Green, listen to me, your fora-father. Go to court in nice clothing, and humbly and kindly explain to the judge that you suffer from mental illness and alcoholism, but that you have quit drinking, are starting therapy, and getting your life together. Ask his mercy, ask him to please give you one last chance and not evict you. This is the only chance you have of success, my fora son.

Okay, here's the plan: Send the judges copies of the letter "h" at the last moment. They will suddenly postpone things. It's worked before.

It has!
In Green's last court case, right before the judge was about to issue a court order for Green's eviction, a bailiff walked up to the bench and discreetly slipped the judge a folded piece of paper. The judge opened it and suddenly it was like an icy steel fist had punched him in the stomach amd knocked the wind right out of him. Cathching his breath, stammering and trying to regain composure, the judge managed to utter "c-c-case adjourned indefinitely, motion to evict dismissed!"
On the sheet of paper, in twelve point Times New Roman was a single letter.
