Topic: Is Nikola Tesla the shit?

Cat !TGirlYJKXM started this discussion 13 years ago #31,265

I just watched a video that apparently listed the top 10 inventions that could have changed the world.

Nikola Tesla's Tesla Coil was listed.

There is also an Epic Rap Battle of History featuring him versus Edison.

He also built a machine that if left running could have destroyed the world.

He shut it off in time, luckily. With a sledgehammer.

What machine is that?

Tesla's oscillator.

How would that destroy the world?

If it were tuned to the resonance frequency of the world, it could vibrate it until the atoms separated from each other.

He caused an earthquake with a small pocket sized version of the machine.

Bullshit

It's simple physics, every object vibrates at a certin frequenc (resonant frequency). Let it vibrate at that frequency and it'll start vibrating harder and harder even with minimal energy input.

Anyway, Tesla had it tuned to the frequency of his building and after a short time it shook the building so violent people ran out cause it felt like an earthquake. He destroyed it with a sledgehammer to stop in.

And indeed, Tesla was one crazy Serbian, you'd think he was just bringing shit from the future how advanced some stuff was for it's time.

I wonder how much awesome tech (efficient wireless power transmission etc.) the USA gov. is keeping secret after burning his place after death.

Mythbusters debunked that.

Lol, mythbusters also did a lot of shit with the moonlanding myths, busted so much shit the only thing you could do is believe America was on the moon.

Americans brainwashin Americans... top lol :D

Also, you can try it for yourself. Hit a glas with a fork, record the sound, analyze it and play the same frequency the glass gives off on a speaker and let it shatter.

Same can be done with every object, and instead uof sound you can use vibrators tuned to the frequency (that's how Tesla did it)

Wait, you think the US didn't visit the moon?

I built multiple versions of this and wish I had kept one of them.

And other then tyme to build them they are very easy to make.

He also built a machine that harnessed the power of passing comets. If left running it could have destroyed every star in the galaxy.

He shut it off in time, luckily. With duct tape, chewing gum, and a paper clip.

Group not far from where I live (UFO religion doomsday cult) harnessed the power of the Comet Hale–Bopp and departed Planet Earth so they could enjoy the galaxy.

He also built a machine that turned lead into gold by harnessing the power of jealousy. If left running it could have destroyed the economy.

He shut it off in time, luckily. By slapping it with his massive cock.
