I think you did a good job on this but I don't like the original song to begin with anyway. From a technical standpoint, it sounds like you kept good flow with the source material. Sounds pretty tight.

I didn't even read the manual, I just figured it out on my own.

Though I started using Logic when I was 14, and MOTU Performer on a Quadra mac when I was about 8.

There are a lot of tutorials online and on Youtube, I recommend checking some out.
