Topic: Did someone total your car? We're truly sorry. Here, have $500! That'll DEFINITELY get you a car.

Fucking hell I fucking hate Michigan and its no-fault bullshit goddamn insurance. Yes, my Golf is fucking too expensive to repair at this point. Guess what? It's totaled. So I get $500 from the at-fault party and absolutely nothing from insurance. That is not fucking enough goddammit.I should've claimed whiplash. And to add insult to injury, I have to drive my mum's goddamn PT fucking Cruiser. I have never drove a worse car in my life. It has the turning radius of an orbiting moon, it takes an eternity to get to 60 and the interior is entirely made out of the cheapest plastic on Earth. And how the fuck does it get only 19MPG? It is a 4cyl hatchback like the Golf I once had, but it it gets about a third of the MPG.

That's a shitty insurance policy you had. Maybe get real insurance next time, the type that repairs your car or pays out it's market value.

I'm sorry. I was lying. What had happened was that my car got totaled, and my father gave me a blue PT Cruiser (he is into Breaking Bad and thought it would be fucking hilarious) that he bought with the payout. I like to imagine that what happened happened because it doesn't piss me off as much. But what was true is the $500 deductible I got.

PT Cruiser is based on the Neon, which was Dodge's Jetta, if that's any consolation. The interior may be Fischer-Price grade but at least the electrical system is sound.

Dad got it for me as a joke. Yeah, yeah, Walter Jr. and his PT Cruiser. And no, he isn't planning on giving me a Dodge Challenger, in case you were wondering.

Dodge Challenger is some warmed-over W210 E-Class chassis with shit build quality. DaimlerChrysler is an abomination best forgotten, imo.

Agreed. At least GM had some cool RWD V8 sedans in the 90s. After that, all they made was utter shit.

This is just me, but I would be happy just having a car to drive. Be fucking grateful. A lot of people do not have that option.

A lot of people don't have access to clean water. Should I be thankful for living in Michigan then?

Yeah, you should. Quit acting like a typical spoiled brat. You are better than this. Its a car. Yes, you lost your fancy one. I am sorry for that. At least you aren't hoofing it or forced to use a bike. Be happy you have the ability to have access to this. I desperately hope you are never in a situation where you are homeless. I fear for your choices.

You may think I'm spoiled, but many of my friends whined about how the Mustangs their parents bought them were V6, automatics, etc. I am a bit upset over a downgrade in transportation. Can't you understand? And bikes aren't that bad. At least they're RWD and run off fat.

So what if they have shiny toys. I would take a Gremlin if it ran. In know it sucks, cause you liked your car. But don't hate on the PT. I am sure there is something you must like.

live in dad's McMansion for free, eat for free, don't work > whine about driving mom's new car for free > claim not to be spoiled brat
