Topic: Do you think buying a smartphone will be worth it even if you aren't a social person?

I like the idea of taking a break in work and going here to do just whatever i can and feel like doing here. Like i would talk about how fallout 3 was better then new vegas and then when i come home i will of course have lots of angry opinions about how my opinion is stupid and therefor wrong etc....
But is it really worth it? i estimate it will take me 20 days in a ideal world to work up the money for it. And that is not even covering the taxes.
No i just live in a far away isolated place that taxes everything that gets into the country heavily. Plus i want the very best smart phone there is and of course the best one is the most expensive one.

@OP
Absolutely worth it. I never text or call anyone and I love my smartphone. It's basically a pocket computer. Worth every cent, imo.

But thinking about it, since i rarely ever get out of the house, i would be using it at a approximate 1 hour each day. 40 minutes of that hour on the bus.

But then again i am kind of like everyone in the sense that i have this childish need to have it even though i know i will not use it that much at all. It would also be useful to be able to help tourists once in a while
when they ask for directions. Its embarrassing when you tell them that you have no idea where they should go. I mean it will happen that they will try and see why i have no clue
new in town? no. live in a different town? no.
