This sort of got me thinking about how impersonal people can be. Modern revolutions in communication seem to distance us more than bring us together. Does anybody else agree?

Sort of. The Internet makes it easier to talk to interesting people you'd never meet irl.

Texting makes it easier to make plans with people to hang out.

But it also gives you less incentive to, since you can just text each other and communicate that way.
