I will be updating this thread about my new phone. It is a Samsung Galaxy S i9000. It has a 16GB MiniSD card (current phone only has 2GB) and it cost me £9!

Oh that's the phone that I have and still use, it's still pretty darn good except for not a lot of ram. I would suggest rooting it and installing cyanogenmod to upgrade to the latest android version and all the goodies that come with it, but since you smashed your laptop I'm not sure that's possible.

The charging port is loose and it won't stay in. It doesn't charge properly, it goes up to 37 and then starts dropping even when charging. When I take it off, it drops to around 10 battery.
