@55,378 (I)
No. You are mixing your shit up.

Either fossils were planted by the devil to test our faith OR dinosaurs did exist and were whipped out in the great flood.

The explanation of the separate layers and periods of fossils and why you won't find the fossil of a bunny rabbit in a Cambrian layer is because of something about animals running to hills or something. I forget that part of the creationist bullshit.

If you see the movie Time Bandits it says God and servants made the world in seven days but they did it by time travel. That solves the whole problem. Jumping around in time.

If you saw Primeval you'd understand.

I'm pretty sure Noah took dinosaurs on the Ark, as God told him to take two of EVERY creature.

Genesis 7:2-3

Take with you seven of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and two of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate, and also seven of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth.

So a male and six mates?

> and two of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate,

What if they're gay? I guess that's the bible's answer to extinction.

> and also seven of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth.

Ummm birds would simply fly and land on the arc and refuse to be shewed. If there really was a flood around the earth, his air would have millions of birds on it. Also if it was real, Santa Clause would be able deliver his presents to 6 billion people around the world in one night.

I'm pretty sure that includes dinosaurs. What happened to them? My guess is that mammals out-competed them. Your ideas?

Leonidas !nBpim1wazU replied with this 15 years ago, 40 seconds later, 23 hours after the original post[^] [v] #56,332

@56,324 (P)

I don't know how mammals out-competed them or the large birds after the extinction (e.g. "terror birds") unless laying eggs was their undoing. The dinosaurs and birds were more physically powerful and faster than mammals.

The ark was 450 feet long, 75 feet wide and 45 feet deep.
That won't hold very many dinosaurs.

No you see, when the bible said 'feet' it actually meant 'stages'. A 'stage' can be any length. So you see, although the ark was said to bhe 450 feet long, it actually meant 450 stages long. The Ark was 250 million miles long in reality.

The ark wouldn't float if it's too big. And wood itself isn't strong enough to hold it together. They'd need magic wood or metal.

When I say "Any length" to fit the story I'm telling, I mean " Whatever you are willing to believe". It is important you keep this in mind and adjust it accordingly.
