I was told the reason for more free women was because most of them stick to towns and/or their husbands unless you're playing as a female character in which case you're an exception.
I was also told that it's because Fallout is more of a post-post-apocalyptic setting where law and order is starting to return.
Are these accurate?

I remember visiting a whore house on the North West side of Vegas that is ran by a woman. I forgot the name of it or the name of the woman. But I could have sworn I did.
