I bought a kindle fire, rooted it, and flashed jelly bean on there and then installed a bunch of games and shit. But I know I'm probably missing out on a bunch of apps I have no clue about.

Probably one of the cooler apps I found was FreeBox - it's lists all the free movies you can watch on YouTube. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.freebox

Actually they are tablets I got for my kids. I don't get the pleasure of using them, only working on them.

Swapps, makes it easier to launch apps without having to go to the home screen then the app dock, you can just swipe the left side of the screen and it opens a dock, like this
