I was working on an older laptop awhile back and long story short I ended up going back to Firefox after finding a few of these add ons. I'll skip the obvious add-ons like download helper, fasterfox and adblock. I'd love to hear about some of the add-ons you use (I'll try any mentioned).

FX Chrome - makes Firefox look just like Chrome (Chrome does look better, but still lacks the badassery of Firefox).

UnloadTab - unloads tabs that aren't in use to stop wasting memory, you can specify which tabs to keep loaded at all times.

SmartVideo For YouTube - all kinds of options for YouTube videos, no more annoying captions, no more videos buffering in the middle of the video.

Desktop - I'd tried a few of these types of add-ons over the years and never really got comfortable with any of them. This one had enough options and customizations to make it a keeper IMO. I'm not sure the description does it justice, try it out.

That's about half Stratiform, half userchrome.css, but Stratiform alone is sufficient to make a decent looking one-liner.
