American food in China.
I.e. the quest for the perfect burger. In china.

I mean... they have american restaurants right? And I don't just mean McDonalds. Oh wait. I guess they don't have mom and pop american food places like they do chinese food places here.

I wonder if the chinese eat jalapeno poppers and bacon cheese burgers.

Anyway, yeah. That.

Have you done a quest for hot dogs? Or just american food in general? If I move to china I don't want to be stuck eating seaweed and fish sack soup.

Would a real american food restaurant not appeal to the chinese? Maybe with streaming amrican sitcoms, movies and sports on giant TVs? Onion fries? Corn dogs?

Not hamburgers, hot dogs, or pizza. And everyone loves Tex-mex.

You go get fucked, sir.

In all seriousness, I think it would be cool to read more Kitchen Confidential-style stories about crazy kitchens and people you've worked with in the past.

I have two ideas: 1) recipes that can be made in under 30 minutes, and for less than $10 and 2) more articles about western and non-Chinese cuisines. Maybe do some articles about French cuisine, or Indian or Japanese.

But above all, more recipes! It's all well and good reading about some amazing dish, but I want to learn how to make it myself (or at least try). Remember, most food writers and personalities do a lot of recipes or have a cooking show where you can follow along.

I really enjoy your blog, by the way!

He's too lazy to come up with his own ideas, what makes you think he'd actuallygo through the trouble of actually giving real information?

Write about foreign food in the country your're in. Do they make a good pizza? Does the Italian food even come close to being decent?
