Evidence

1. A couple days ago the little orange light on my light switch next to my closet (turns on the closet light) had started going out, but only part of the light, and in weird patterns. For example at one point the darkness looked like a beckoning finger in the middle of the orange light.

2. Last night I could hear what sounded like breathing, I breathed (as I normally would) then stopped, I still heard the breathing. Also that night there was a brief knock at my door, not enough to clearly be someone there, but enough to where it was it eerie.

3. Then just moments before I posted this the entire room began smelling heavily, unmistakebly of rubbing alcohol.

What do I do?

I've never heard of ghosts smelling like rubbing alcohol. You must investigate further.

@OPenis, set up a digital sound recorder and/or video while you sleep, then check it out the next day. You might be surprised at what turns up. GHOUL uses that technique.

Or if all else fails, steal an image from some obscure website and pass it off as your own. When people notice, using TinEye, claim some shadowy individual is colluding with TinEye to frame you. For some reason.
