Personally I have quit facebook a while ago. Some family was a little upset since they thought I had blocked them, but we never communicated anyway so noone seemed to really care after explaining that I had deleted my account. Why do you want to quit? Can you just keep a completely locked down profile with no information sharing to keep up appearances since that seemingly matters to you?
