I've been meaning to play Salem: the crafting MMO since I found out it left Beta, and now that Paradox Interactive have handed the management and development of the game back to Seatribe I'm even more interested in playing.
Would any of you be interested in starting up a minichan colony out there somewhere in Salem?

I just spent 3 hours wandering around looking for curios to study and now I am back at Boston... I'm supposed to be able to get a lift to a random spot in the wild now, but the guys in town who say they are the wilderness guides are just silver shops. I have no idea what I'm doing, how do I get my free leanto in the woods?

I figured out you can gain Mines and Mountains from a curio called 'A Taste of the New World'. It's pretty easy to craft, too.
