So, I lied to Lexi then for whatever reason decided to confess, mostly laziness. She broke up with me, and told me she hated me, and that I would never change.

She's right, and a lot of you are right about me, too. I am a compulsive liar, I am completely self indulgent, I have no sense of sympathy or commitment for/to anyone or anything. I have never felt remorse for anything I've done, except for when it has directly caused me trouble.

Losing Lexi was, and is mostly painful because the idea of being rejected, of losing is painful. Truth be told, I would rather her have died than her break up with me. In fact if the latter had happened, I would have been able to have moved on quickly because pursuing her still would be pointless.

I'm not saying I'm mentally ill, or that I'm some serial killer in the making, I think I'm pretty average. But I do think there's some validity to the criticisms I receive.
