Coastal Beach Oregon is far far far more better then Washington State.

Lots of middle of Oregon is much like North Dakota from my perspective.

Washington State is ok but going North to BC Canada is far more better.

I come from Northern and Western European stock, so that isn't shocking. I have the skin of an Irishman which means I will burn up if I am outside for more than 15 minutes :(
