Or what's the strongest alcohol you've had? I tried moonshine once, it was horrific. Everclear is okay.

My brother-in-law makes and sells it. There were huge batches of various kinds at my sister's wedding after-party. I live in the south.

A few of my uncles and cousins still make it. When done right it's quite smooth. When done wrong it's like fucking gasoline.

Yes and right out of the still and it was a first class ultra high tek operation in an aerospace company. But they cut it with water to about 120 proof and it was just a taste. Then used to boost Orange Juice.

Never tasted Everclear which bert boasts about often.

Had some 30 day old stuff in a Mason jar and it was pure corn based brew. Was more then OK but I don't think the proof was over 100

A friend's dad made pear moonshine which was pretty good.

The strongest I have had is Navy 151. It almost makes me puke not from the alcohol but from the taste. Yet I drink it .
