i think it was all his, but i'm not sure. some of it might've been his dads, can't say for sure. mostly i remember the screaming. the screaming.

edit: edited headline to reflect that i got out of my car and walked over to see if everyone was oka-- oh, okay, i'm going to go get y'all an ambulance. i'll be right back.

so i guess since no one cares i'll just start at the beginning. So, like i told the cop, the one car t-boned the other car, but i don't really know who had right of way. but i do remember that i "saw it coming" and knew that someone was "out of position" and that someone was going to get hit. then the one car t-boned the other car. the one car pulled off to the side and a the other car just sat there, and it was in front of us in the middle of the street, and so, like, i thought about that T.V. show where they said 9 out of 10 people would step over a dying man rather than see if he needed help, and i was all, "i'd better got out of here," but this one woman was in front of me in her car talking on her cellphone to someone and i got out of my car and started walking up the median towards the car in the middle of the intersection. the black woman on her cell phone said, "they're fine," and i almost stopped and said, "oh, okay," and then went back to my car, but, then i was like, there's no way she could know that. So i went ahead and stepped into the intersection and kinda sauntered up the the car when i started to hear the screams. I got closer and the driver started to get out and he was kinda wobbley, and the car was smashed up real good along the back door. i look in the busted out window and see the two kids, one, maybe 3, face splattered with blood and little shards of glass, and then it looked like the dad was bleeding from the head maybe, so, then i was all, oh, "me llammo squeegee. uh, i'm going to go get la ambulancioso." so then i ran back over to my car and dialed 911.
pretty sure the kid will be fine, but it was quite the scene to stroll up on. i think he was just pelted with glass pretty good, but man, his part of the car took a lot of damage. totaled both vehicles no doubt.

wel, i mean, i did too when i walked up on it and the dad was basically incapacitated and the children, both shrieking, were splattered with blood.
i don't know why i didn't bring my phone, so i ran back to get it and called 911 and had to tell the operator there were children splattered with blood.
i'm sure that made her day, but, she asked.
she asked if anyone was hurt, i said there's blood.
she asked where is the blood?
splattered on the children.
oh.
where are their injuries?
i said i dunno, i'll go look. maybe it's from the glass, but i don't speak hispanic, so i can't ask them.

well this thread was a waste of time. next time i witness an accident and intervene to console the victims, check for injuries, and call 911, i'll just post about it on reddit.

Also i have to add that at some point other people who (i don't know what languages they spoke,) but they walked up and one dude got the scared daughter out of the car and was holding her, and i don't know what the mother was doing, i presume she was the woman in the passenger seat. anyway, a few other people showed up to see how everyone was doing.

incidentally i didn't really see or talk to the driver of the car that t-boned the other one, but i think he was the guy that walked over, saw the damage, then looked inside and saw bloody, screaming children, and he ran back screaming "god damnit!!"
pretty sure the guy ran a red light, cause i just remember someone cruising right past everyone who was stopped.

anyway, this thread should have gotten more action.
