Now the t, y, u, and backspace keys no longer work. It's a Lenovo Ideapad laptop (vintage 2011) if that's any help, and the whisky spilled on it was about two ounces of George Dickel Cascade Hollow Tennessee Whisky.

Barnes and Noble Nook HD+. Price has been cut to $149, and it has Android 4.0 and Google Play. Also it has a nice display. I don't need anything super srsbsns, just for web browsing, YouTube, and music.
As far as I can tell, the Nook HD+ is on par with the Kindle Fire HD or iPad 2, specs-wise (but with a much better display than the iPad 2). It seems to be the best value at the moment under $200.

I just got a Nabi XD! If you're looking for a nice piece of hardware (NVIDIA® Tegra® 3 Mobile Processor with Quad-Core CPU) that can be banged around a bit, they can be rooted (and have Google Play) and adjusted to do *whatever* pretty easily. The price is nice for the hardware without all the crazy lockdown that comes with some of the other stuff.

No, but I did spill wine on it! I wiped the wine off the screen and kept on going. The laptop is now on my desk, hooked up to a 23" monitor, and USB keyboard and trackball, so it's now a pseudo-desktop.
