If you're like me, you like to do shit while watching YouTube videos in separate windows.

I have a big monitor, and watching the small YouTube video in the window to my left pisses me off, but what pisses me off even more, is the fact that YouTube's fullscreen mode demands the entirety of your monitor's space. However, there is a way around this, which I was not aware of until now. This is a world-shattering, amazing revelation for me, so I'm sharing it in the hopes that someone else other than me was also unaware.

The trick is a matter of changing the URL. Say the YouTube video you wish to watch is located at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0GrRMwMyyc

All you have to do is change the URL to http://www.youtube.com/v/, followed by the appropriate video ID.

So, the link I've included would become: http://www.youtube.com/v/h0GrRMwMyyc

you can also right click on the video and select "pop out."

I would just like to point out that it's called full screen because it takes the full screen.
