Yeah, I don't want to sound like an asshole, but it's a good idea to wait until you're at a point in your life where you'll be able to pay for all your child's needs.
Why not get some birth control for a couple years and postpone the "if it happens, it happens" attitude for when you're better equipped to deal with it if it DOES happen?

That's why we were relieved. We can't, but we are on our way to be able too. we knew we would struggle at first, but in all honesty, I rather wait. For me, cause of my insides I can't afford to just wait. I want to wait, and am willing too, but my body being as fucked as it is due to... genetics/bad things happening I rather not say aloud my next pregnancy might be my only chance. I don't want a baby now, with how we are. It would have been amazing to have a little one, but I want it to be comfortable.
