... and he's such a mouthbreather that I've never actually seen him close his mouth. Even when he's talking, he'll somehow manage to speak without closing his lips. He just bares his teeth constantly and makes an awful sucking noise when he's breathing.
I'm wondering if I should ask him to close his mouth, just to see what it looks like. I've only got two weeks left until graduation, and I've never spoken to him before, so even if I offended him, it really wouldn't affect anything in my life.

Put unusual objects, such as erasers or your fist into his month. This should condition him into closing his mouth.

i knew a guy who had some medical thing in his nasal passages. he always breathed through his mouth, and when he talked it sounded like he pinched his nose off. then after like a year he had his surgery and suddenly he could breath normally and sounded like a different person. When i first heard him i really didn't even understand it was him.
