Alright, I admit it, the number one reason I hate RCT3 that I never talk about is because it breeds things like this. Unoriginal, uncreative, unrealistic, poorly designed, poorly paced, boring creations that are only interesting to those who are very unacquainted with what the program can actually do. And because it's RCT3 you can still rave about how good the stats are because the game just hands them out for free.

It kind of worked out for me. I knew I wanted to do the everything-in-one-playthrough playthrough first, so I got acquainted with a character that liked being powerful - not politically powerful, more-so than that. I wanted to have all major factions under my influence so I could influence their future direction. If I could I would use the Dark Brotherhood as a kind of Chaotic Good, not to be petty assassins for hire but to remove dangerous and unstable political leaders or things like that. No spoilers, but people who have done all of the faction quests might have some idea of how this might actually feel. The Thieves Guild... I honestly don't really have any use for. They let me accomplish my other goals with lower risk and less money lost when I do get caught. The Companions are lawfully ambiguous anyway, although their overarching purpose is basically that of the Fighters Guild. It would be useful to have a small, trained army at your command should you need one. As for the Arch-Mage of the college, this was instrumental to mastering the different schools of magic, which was my first task. Being Arch-Mage means nothing within the lore, so that's what I tell myself. All of that, plus being Thane of every hold makes you basically the most powerful person in the country. That's a position capable of doing a lot of good. You can single-handedly turn the tide of a war, but at no political gain to yourself, so you have the ability to objectively look at the situation and see what's best for either the people or the empire, and the underlying reasons. I wish you could go and kill the Thalmor yourself (it'd make a nice endgame challenge, since even dragons become rather boring to fight once you're sitting on mountains of money, double-enchanted and Legendary'd armor and weapons, with two summons, a follower, and an undead horse) because it would kind of be the ultimate realization of that. Not lust for power because I want to rule everybody, but because then I would be powerful enough to remove the obstacles in everyone else's way.

I am going to be honest here. Skyrim has the best representation of racism I have ever seen in a video game. It isn't mindless NIGGERS ARE STUPID AND SMELLY nonsense of Bioshock Infinite, but shows why people become racist as a result of changes in society. It shows how people act and react, rather than give us a display of outrageous, unrealistic racism.

They're don't like doing business with non-Nords. It's just nice how they seem reasonable at first, but close inspection shows that they're really pretty unreasonable.

USA definition of violent crime:
In the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program, violent crime is composed of four offences: murder and nonnegligent manslaughter, forcible rape, robbery, and aggravated assault.
UK definition of violent crime:
Recorded crime includes violence against the person (ranging from the more serious offences of homicide, serious wounding and threats to kill, to the less serious offences of common assault and harassment), sexual offences (not all of which are violent e.g. bigamy) and robbery (including robbery where no-one was harmed and no threats were made).
The rates in the UK are far higher because they include common assault and harassment which are by far the largest "violent" crimes in the UK but do not actually result in any injury to the victim. In the USA, such crimes would be treated as non-violent misdemeanours and excised from the statistics.
