fantastic, actually. my pay is high, my career is healthy. i'm flush with cash, have a significant savings, and have zero outstanding debt.
also my taxes are low and my heathcare is pretty cheap.

oh yeah, but i guess it sucks about that benghazi drone strike thing, whatever that was about.

oh, and you know when he said, "you didn't build that?" he was referring to the interstate highway system, which you did not build and was paid for by massive tax spending. The highways were, in fact, built by socialism, and you use that infrastructure everyday to engage in commerce and business.

So yeah, were it not for roads and tax spending we wouldn't have developed the worlds largest economy this last century.
in fact interstate highways were so successful that even today whole cities plan around the use of individual autos as opposed to mass transit.
highways were probably the best expenditure of public funds we've ever known, they've made an uncalculatable impact on our ability to work and transport goods.

he never said you didn't work to obtain your silly possessions.

Taxes are paid by people. We built that.

@previous (G)
As a collective, yes, but not as an individual. Maybe your grandad was paid to do road construction on highways, but you weren't. At best you pay to maintain them, so, you repair that. You didn't build it because you weren't alive to pay taxes at the time unless you're syntax.

Anyway he was talking about infrastructure and people took it out of context to make it seem like he meant all personal business. Just another example of conservatives fudging the truth to conjure controversy where there is none.

Republicans hate the truth.
