Well, I wouldn't know for sure, not having worked in the profession myself. I guess they'd make quite a bit of money if they worked in a good area with lots of customers. But then, it can be a dangerous line of work, what with the STDs and weirdos out there, but the danger of these could likely be minimised if appropriate precautions were taken.

So yeah, I don't really have an informed opinion. Try asking a whore and you'll probably get a more conclusive answer.
