I'd be nice and call someone with a penis a woman if it made them comfortable, but I wouldnt pretend that they are lesbians or that they can have lesbian sex, or that they should try and hit on lesbians. People with AIS don't develop as a male. They don't necessarily develop as a female either. I don't really know where to place them. It's an interesting question, but not relevant since I don't think Cathy falls into this category.

What a good genetic standard would have to include to in order to define sex is an interesting question. I would argue that, for 99.9% of the population, the presence or absence of a Y chromosome is a sufficiently good indicator. Trying to account for the outliers may be trying to force a male/female binary onto a process that doesn't always produce one or the other.

This reminds me of a scenario I typed up for /tg/ (Traditional Games) where the world saw a massive decrease in women and an increase in men. The solution was to construct factories where they'd taking willing men first and then if needed unwilling men to turn them into cisgendered females. It gets more sinister when the factories starting putting out catalogs for other men to order their perfect mate and depending on what the men ordered, the new women would be subjected to courses which ensured that their costumers got what they wanted.

This reminds me of a scenario I typed up for /tg/ (Traditional Games) where the world saw a massive decrease in women and an increase in men. The solution was to construct factories where they'd taking willing men first and then if needed unwilling men to turn them into cisgendered females. It gets more sinister when the factories starting putting out catalogs for other men to order their perfect mate and depending on what the men ordered, the new women would be subjected to courses which ensured that their costumers got what they wanted.

- A male who is attracted to females is not a homosexual.
- Lesbians are homosexuals.
- So, mtf transsexuals who are attracted to females are not lesbians.
Working from the definitions she provided, that makes sense. Someone's satisfaction with their own identity is a side note, and it doesn't change the fact that they are someone of one sex who is attracted to someone of another sex.
It's just an argument about definitions though. I think Cathy should go ahead and do whatever feels right.
