Cyclists riding in and out of lanes only pretending traffic laws apply when it's convenient - taking up a whole lane and keeping traffic backed up behind them.
Yeah, I can't say I'm surprised at this guy's reaction: Let me drive my fucking car on the road without having to wait for your ass pretending to be a vehicle on your bike.

What laws did he break exactly? Why is it okay to get violent when someone pisses you off with their driving skills? Where is he supposed to ride his bike? Most times its illegal to rise it on the sidewalk

I don't think I said he broke any laws. Anyway, we live in different states, so I don't know.
re: vehicles
As an avid pedestrian, and sometimes driver, I really do not like cyclists who think they are vehicles (when convenient) but not vehicles. (whenever it doesn't suit them or whenever they may have to obey traffic laws) This guy was apparently holding up traffic. I don't condone running him down, but I sympathize with the guy stuck behind him who counted on being able to drive down the street at a reasonable speed.
