Totally unfair. Mountainman believes every potential baby is a murder waiting to happen. KL is just asking for the mother's choice. In MM's view, the mother is automatically a murderer if she doesn't want to devote nine months of her life to making "God's little miracle" (or whatever superstitious shit MM believes) when she didn't want it and/or can't support it in the first place.

Oh god fuck shit no. This is horrible. I've always viewed Cornwall as a nice, reasonably progressive place. I'm slightly ashamed that we've got a horrid, throw-back bastard of a man like this in a position of government.
But hey, at least he's not in a position where he can actually do anything. And the article does note that his election got a very mixed response.
