He added a side deck soon after, but it was removed around 2008 due to decay. We rebuilt that new one in 2009.

Could you indicate where the hole was they dug in order to get that septic tank out? Also any pics you had of that event would be interesting.

There's about a 10"x 10" square cut in the linoleum floor, and another patch over to the side that's missing. (Both are covered with a bamboo area rug thing.) I'm afraid I have no pics of this. But there's not much to show as we didn't actually remove it, but we emptied it and then filled it with cement. Then we connected the new tank in the backyard that was already there.
If you want to know where this was, our kitchen is in the far back of the house.
