You know why she goes by Cupcake? Because it's the name I gave her, it's the first cutesy name I called her. Stop it.

Surprised she doesn't go by "bitch," then.

You're fucking ridiculous, I called her a bitch one time out of anger. And not this is an excuse, but she'd called me a bitch, and other names long before I said anything remotely negative to her.

Also you crushed her hand like the hulk because she answered her phone after her birthday meal (that you had her pay for)

Wrong, I didn't even want her to pay for it, I couldn't pay for it. And I squeezed her hand on accident, and did absolutely no damage btw. I scared her, and I feel really bad about it. Okay, so I made mistakes in a relationship, good to know you've never gotten angry and called someone a name. I don't like that I did what I did, I feel bad about it, in fact I wish I could have been a lot better of a boyfriend because now I don't have her anymore. I blame myself, and I feel like shit.

could have gone dutch. or saved up in the previous weeks and gave even a little. did you even try to get the money for her birthday meal?
> good to know you've never gotten angry and called someone a name
I have never once mentally or physically abused any of my loved ones thanks especially my girlfriend who is in fact the most precious thing in the entire world to me

Fuck off. Lexi meant the world to me, and she still does. We got in fights, and have both said things we shouldn't have. We've both called each other names, and gotten upset, and whatever. Calling someone "bitch" in a heated argument isn't nice, but it isn't abuse either. And yeah, actually I did, I felt like shit for not having the money and I told her I'd take her somewhere special when I got my paycheck. Believe it or not, I did a lot of sweet things for Cupcake, and I took her to a lot of nice places. I did things I regret, but I loved her, and I still do.

feeling like shit is not a suitable substitute for being a good boyfriend

You know barely anything about my relationship with my ex. I was very sweet to her, and I put my heart into the relationship, I made mistakes, I have to admit that, but I did a lot more good than bad.

These threads are always entertaining because postmortem constantly switches between being almost apologetic to defensive. Sometimes it's even in the same post.

She sounds demanding and you sound needy. Women normally like jerks so I'm not sure why your relationship lasted this long.

Demanding and needy are the same thing with a different mask, basically. Both just want things. My normal demeanor is one of confidence, sophistication, and fun, believe it or not. Deep down I'm needy as fuck, but that's not until you've dug way past the crust of confidence at the surface. I could also be really demanding. Being demanding with her didn't work, so I stopped trying that tactic as much. Again, it's all just getting what you want.

Also, no women don't like jerks. They like guys who are confident, and often times confident guys are jerks. Nice, confident guys get all the girls, I promise.

My assumption is that like myself on here, he acts differently in real life. Or at least normally. Yeah, we both have stories that make us seem like assholes, but on average we're both just normal fellows doin' normal fellow things.
