Topic: GW student asks for injunction against principal over speaker
!KThEOwLwbU started this discussion 13 years ago#27,389
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A student at George Washington High School asked for an injunction in Kanawha Circuit Court against the school's principal Monday, after she alleges he threatened to call the college where she's been accepted and tell them she has "bad character" for speaking up against an abstinence-only assembly held at the school last week.

A principal telling the colleges about how she was protesting abstinence-only education would probably get the colleges to be more likely to accept her. EDIT: Unless of course that College happened to be Liberty University.

He threatened to call her future college because she was disloyal. What a joke

to the principal? Who in the fuck cares? It has nothing to do with her education or the fact that he spent $4000 t0 $6000 of school funds, on a lecture to badger kids into not fucking.

the college would probably care if she is likely to start shit there
> a lecture to badger kids into not fucking.
OY VEY
ANYTHING BUT THAT
THAT IS LITERALLY THE WORST THING IMAGINABLE
TELLING MINORS NOT TO HAVE SEX IS WORSE THAN 30 SHOAHS
KIDS HAVE A RIGHT TO NOT BE DISCOURAGED FROM HAVING SEXUAL INTERCOURSE

She's going to go to Wesley, do you really think that they would be bothered that a future student cared about the seperation of church and state? They've already congratulated her.
He obviously didn't bother even readingthe article.

I know right? I love his argument that young people should be encouraged to not have sex, and get told tat sex makes them dirty, but that its also okay for him to creep on kids. How does that work? He defends pedo priests, and says that its society, not the predators that actually hurt molested children, but he also supports an organization that teaches people that sex ruins them. Fucked up

Buspuppie, the priests were clearly seduced by those children. You've been brainwashed to think otherwise by the statist media.

When I first heard that, I wanted to flip. If someone is that weak, than they shouldnt be a "moral leader" and whoever hired them should be fired immediately.

He also doesn't support abortion, probably because he wants the girls to grow up a few years so he can try to fuck them before their vaginas develop to properly take a penis (which is obviously the apex of sexiness in his mind).

Probably. I love how adults should be able to fuck kids, the kids should be forced to have babies, but state assistance to poor children is decadent and statist. Religious libertarians kill me.

Because certain people dont want to pay taxes, want to be able to own any kind of weapon imaginable, but also dont want to give woman and children control over their own bodies.
Thats what happens when you mix religion, magical thinking, and erections.

So it's like he pretends he wants people to be able to act as they will, but in reality he wants the government to support the things he is in favour of and destroy the things that he is not in favour of.

Thats exactly how he feels. Otherwise, why would he be okay with teaching kids that sex is dirty, while at the same time, trying to fuck them? Sick mentality.

The principal had a personal vendetta because he was embarrassed and afraid of losing his job, her future college congratulated her, and he still has to get a last word in? Whats the matter with him?

Quality post. You rebutted all of their points using rational, well-informed counter-points.
But what was really great about this post is how you refused to back down, showing that you have real conviction in your beliefs.

Quote from the abstinence speaker:
The important thing to know about Stenzel is that she admits that doesn’t care about her message’s effect on kids’ health. As I reported in my book Kingdom Coming: The Rise of Christian Nationalism, in 2003, Stenzel gave a speech to a fundamentalist conference called “Reclaiming America for Christ,†in which she rejected the idea that abstinence education should be judged by its effectiveness. “People of God,†she cried, “can I beg you, to commit yourself to truth, not what works ... I don’t care if it works, because at the end of the day I’m not answering to you, I’m answering to God!â€
She continued, “Let me tell you something, people of God, that is radical, and I can only say it here. AIDS is not the enemy. HPV and a hysterectomy at 20 is not the enemy. An unplanned pregnancy is not the enemy. My child believing that they can shake their first in the face of a holy God and sin without consequence, and my child spending eternity separated from God, is the enemy. I will not teach my child that they can sin safely.â€
