I haven't heard from her in a few days, there's a girl my friend really wants me to meet tonight. Part of me wants to just keep waiting for Cupcake, always trying to make it work, living for those few moments of bliss. If she didn't leave me all the time, I'd marry her without a second thought, I love her. But maybe it's time to start something new, I don't know. Love isn't everything.

Of course, about dating someone new. I haven't even met this person yet. And I'm still in a position where Cupcake could easily get me back, and that's not fair to any new comer. But there's no harm in meeting someone.

absolutely no harm in meeting new.
Anyone just out of a relationship is in no shape to connect up with anyone new for more then just friends.
That said I sure have and regrets a many. But I sure learned to stop that.
One MISTRAKE i DO NOT Regret but wot a ride that was

I have a tendency to move really fast. If I really like someone I'm not going to wait around to see if it would really work out or not. I shoot first, and ask questions later. But dear God do I love my ex, arrg.

Yea but then the new girl inherits all that old baggage. Makes for a bad way to start off with so many strikes against ya
The right woman can but it has to be a very strong gal.

I can just become a new person if I'm interested in somebody new. If I ever really decided to replace Lexi then the new girl would barely know she existed. Just like Lexi knows very little about my exes, there's no reason for anyone to know. The past is the past. Quite honestly, I don't want to give Lexi up, I want her desperately, and I love her dearly. But there comes a point where it's no longer practical, and so I'm not quite for sure saying goodbye, but if Lexi isn't even talking to me, and has said we're broken up then what other option do I have? I can't sit around, and wait forever.

You just had a fight. You should walk in to her parent's place like it was a fight.

I'm sick of all these fights, and break ups though. I have better shit to do than deal with someone who I have almost no security in the relationship with. I'm very seriously considering just not getting back together with her. If she apologized for overreacting, wanted to get back together, and said she loved me then she would probably be able to have me. But the time for her to do that is running out.

Did she break up because of the birthday stuff you posted on?

She broke up with me because I didn't text for like 2 hours, and she felt like that meant I didn't care about her.

I doubt that was the only reason

That was the immediate reason. Obviously it was an accumulation of things, I hope at least, but one text is conversational, and sweet. 2 hours later I get a "this is bullshit, you don't care about me." And then, I'm like "I do care, sorry I didn't text you", and then she's like "Fuck you, you're not my boyfriend", and also "take your sorrys and put them in a sack, and shove them up your ass." I then went and made her a smoothie, and attempted to bring it to her. She was not there or at least not answering the door so I went home. I figured she was upset, and I'd get a text from her in a bit. That text never came, and here I am now.
