the management at my apartment is run by a bunch of dick lickers and I have nowhere to park. We are only allowed 2 cars and 2 switches to open the gate. We have 3 people in the apt so three cars.
Parked my goddamn car at a restaurant tonight.
I can park my car in visitor parking without getting in trouble, but there are only spaces in the day.
I'm thinking I need to bike 2mi to work and keep my car in visitor parking.
The main question is:
Is there a way to hack a switch so I can make my own DIY one and get on property that way? I only have a key to the gate.(Edited 2 minutes later.)

Of course there is an easy solution.
Look at the back of the clicker. Look up the company on the net, and order one. Programing is a cinch. On most modern clickers you just hold it up to the opener and it will self sync to the code.
On others if old its as simple as opening the back of each and setting your new units pgm switches in the same sequence. Very easy honest.

Also a quick alternative but usually expensive is for anyone on the lease to call the complex management and claim its lost. But usually they mark up the cost to something terrible.
The companies also have a 1-800 number to place an order on the phone.
