In 4 hours or so I plan on using my long board to attempt to Surf the Tsunami - Cops and Life guards I suspect will do their best to stop me - Its 3:48AM PST Here and the whole neighborhood is up and in party and waiting for sunrise and then then well we only expect 3 or 4 feet added to the planned 3 or 4 and I have a small cliff as buffer for where I live. - Hummmm I could try and show that buffer?

Just pirate it. It isn't very good. I've bought every game Bioware has put out, and even I advocate pirating DA2. I'm four hours in and it is gaaaaaaay. I hope it gets better =-(

Almost at the end of act 1. It'll get better but it's very boring for me right now. My biggest three complaints are

1. I feel I have no emotion invested in the story. It doesn't have a real plot yet, it is just "LOL YOU ARE POOR RUN AROUND AND DO ODD JOBS KTHX". It isn't like Mass Effect, Kotor, or DA1, where you felt like you were on an epic adventure.
2. The city (which is the entire game btw, kirkwall is the ENTIRE GAME) is cut up into like 30 stupid separate rooms so shitty consoles can render them easier. I don't feel like I'm in a vast city, I feel like I'm teleporting from little map to little map and it ruins the immersion.
3. The quest system design also ruins immersion. In Kotor, Da1, and Mass Effect I liked how you could explore, find hundreds of optional quests, find new shit every time you played. In this one I don't even read the quests because they just shit giant markers on top of everything and direct you like a sheep. There isn't even any reason to explore, there is nothing cool to find.

The combat is heaps above DA1 though. You'll love cleaving through HORDES of enemies, and the graphics are very good as well. The complaints I have should be resolved after Act 1 (I hope), I just want there to be some driving plot.

OH and the hottest chick in the game is your sister, how fucked up is that?

edit: And yeah, the dalish and quernai (I don't know how to spell it) races have been improved a SHIT LOAD.
